Sip and Support at Roots Fundraiser 2023

Roots is a community-based, outdoor tent party you won’t want to miss. Presented by Cork and Strawberry Hill Farm, the event features a walk around wine tasting and food sampling where 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the Vermont Foodbank. A zero-waste event, Roots showcases over 80 natural wines curated by Cork, local beer and cider producers as well as local bites from restaurants and artisans from around the community. Roots donated over $108,000 in 2022 and will look to match if not exceed that this year.

A Place of Memory Exhibition at The Current

Come get inspired with The Current this summer. ‘A Place of Memory‘ questions public representation and how cultures and countries choose to define their past through monuments, memorials and sculptural objects. Through their work, artists in this exhibition reclaim their own ancestral stories, asking the viewer to rethink how we present history, and therefore, our values. Participating artists include Woody De Othello, Nicholas Galanin, vanessa german, Deborah Kass and Nyugen E. Smith.

Delight in the breathtaking displays of both annual and perennial plantings, as well as the inviting patios and outdoor spaces offering stunning vistas. The event will be held rain or shine and the proceeds will be generously donated to the Stowe Community Fund and Lamoille County Meals-on-Wheels.

Join Spruce Peak this summer on the Spruce Peak Village Green for amazing music by celebrated artists in a magical Green Mountain setting. Drivers, start your engines! Buckle up for an exciting ride through time at the 66th annual Vermont Antique and Classic Car Meet. The event features a car corral, a huge automotive flea market, the Show car parade through downtown Waterbury and the judged show. Car classes include military, street rods and motorcycles. Added special events feature Vintage Fashion Judging, Hot Wheels and valve cover racing. Unique and popular is the Crafter’s Tent featuring Vermont Artisans and their creations for sale. Race to the Top of Vermont

Walk, run or bike! The Northeast Delta Dental Race To The Top of Vermont draws hikers, bikers, and runners from across the U.S. and Canada to climb Mt. Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak. The course ascends the historic Mansfield Toll Road, is 4.3 miles in length, and has 2,564 feet of up. For some, it’s all about trying to achieve a fast time on this challenging course. While for others, they come to support the Catamount Trail Association, to test themselves, and to enjoy the spectacular views.
