Vermont leads the nation in maple syrup production, reporting over 2 million gallons of pure VT maple syrup produced in 2023. Cold nights and warm days are the ideal weather conditions to get sap flowing from maple trees. Syrup season is already underway here in Vermont, and it’s looking like another great year.
