Vermont leads the nation in maple syrup production, reporting a record-high 2.55 million gallons of pure VT maple syrup produced in 2022. Cold nights and warm days are the ideal weather conditions to get sap flowing from the maple trees. Syrup season is already underway here in Vermont, and it’s looking like another great year.
